Sky High Volleyball Team Heading to Nationals

The Sky High 14-Purple volleyball team has earned a spot to play at the 2010 USA Junior Girls' National Volleyball Championships in Reno Nevada.

Playing out of the Vernon Hills facility, this is the first team outside of the main Crystal Lake club site to earn a spot to USA nationals.

The eleven girls, all who are 14 years old, will travel to Reno on June 23 and compete with the best teams in the nation from June 24-27. With local players like Alexa Bykowski (setter), Peyton Bykowski (libero) and Madison McAfee (outside hitter) leading the way, the team has a great chance to succeed in Reno.

On Sunday, they defeated Milwaukee Sting 18 Gold (2-0), Dead Frogs 18 Black (2-0) from Michigan and Fusion 18 Black (2-0) to finish 2nd Place in the FINAL STANDINGS of the 2010 18 Power League.
